These Yellow Thunderpants have been tied to include a lightning bolt across them somewhere, the lightning bolt is different on each pair which makes each one uniquely fabulous. 

These have been tie dyed in an indigo dye bath. Please wash separately for the first few washes and definitely not with your brand new white tee shirt or wear under anything lighter coloured unless you want it to be slightly blue. 

This item is hand dyed by one of the Thunderpants Team. They might be printed, dip dyed, shibori dyed, tie dyed, hand stamped, coloured in, indigo dyed, free style hand painted / coloured - but they will all be original creations and works of art.

NB: These Lightning Bolt thunderpants have been hand dyed by someone at Thunderpants to brighten up your day, they may take up to a week to dispatch.

• Sit high just above your natural waist and the leg line follows the natural curve of your body just like the originals and hipsters. They taper in at the top, so will sit and stay right where they are meant to all day long.

• The Thunderpants fabric is 90% cotton and 10% spandex to give it that super comfy, soft stretchy feel. The waist and leg bands are constructed in the same, lovely fabric eliminating the need for the addition of nasty, grippy elastic and adding to the enjoyment of your Thunderpants experience. All the garments are made locally and lovingly in New Zealand. 

• To preserve the vibrant colours and life of the fabric we suggest you do not soak or bleach your Thunderpants items. Use a gentle detergent in a cold machine wash and dry your Thunderpants on the line, not in the drier.
