The AtlasIED FC-4MR is an optional mud ring designed for Atlas + Fyne FC ceiling loudspeaker installations in gypsum board and sheetrock applications. In projects where standard C-rings and tile bridges are not the preferred mounting approach, this accessory provides a fixed reference point before drywall is installed, helping integrators plan speaker locations earlier in the construction cycle.

For new construction workflows, the FC-4MR supports cleaner coordination between framing, wiring, and finish trades. It allows conduit or speaker cable to be secured in advance and helps preserve the intended loudspeaker position through drywall installation. The ring also functions as a guide for creating consistent cutouts, which is especially useful when uniform placement matters across multiple rooms or repeated ceiling layouts.

In finish-grade installations, the circular offset is used to guide drywall cutouts and edge finishing for a more precise opening aligned with the speaker mounting profile. Structural wings are included for attachment to ceiling joists or other framing members, supporting a straightforward rough-in process for installed audio projects.
