Shout out to Samuel Langhorne Clemens aka Mark Twain. Living 1835-1910, Samuel was an American writer, humorist, and lecturer across the world. One of the funniest writers we've read, Clemens and his mustache are widely regarded as the greatest humorists America has produced. We recommend any collection of his travel essays, but you can't go wrong with his classic novels The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, and A Connecticut Yankee in King Author's Court.
