The complete 180g 2LP release of the complete set, with additional live recordings, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the classic "Birth of Kool" sessions, is now available for the first time on vinyl at The Royal Roost, and for the first time the speed and pitch are correct. The studio LP was cut from the original single master. This is the first time it is not cut from the second generation of album masters. Gatefold version, while faithfully reproducing the original jacket. Ashley Kahn's liner, original LP liner, essays by Phil Schaap and Gerry Mulligan first published in 1998, and rare photos from the recording sessions are also included in the booklet.
